It’s no surprise that this new charge is taken by establishments specializing in all natural wines (a loose use of the term here, of course). This movement, opposed to winemaking traditions, is led by jeans and wine lists with bank-busting prices.

It is pushed by wine experts who are primarily wine enthusiasts and want you to appreciate the good in whatever bottle you order, regardless of price or Vivino rating. This dream will be realized with the introduction of Rebel Rebel.

Rebel Rebel is a wine bar, so wines are highlights there. The Schloss Lieser Riesling Trocken from Germany ($76) is a delicious German riesling. Jesus du Pays Basque’s Jamon de Bellota and salted ham ($24) impresses with juicy ham.

Client Testimonial

Wonderful date night with great food and chill vibes and great service! The duck heart and crab roll were really really good! Kimchi pasta is great too and I love the spicy kick! Menu changes quite often so don’t be surprised if something you wanted to order isn’t on the menu anymore! My partner and I really enjoyed ourselves, outdoor seats are so pretty! 🙂

For the price, portion and taste, I’d say this place is worth the visit. The Haddock Fish was fresh, and flaky and tender inside. The fries came out hot and I absolutely love the crispiness. El Teatro Tapas’ set lunch is ideal for dieters. After lunch at this magnificent Spanish Restaurant at Capitol Kempinski Singapore, no one will accuse their stomachs of being swollen.

The Spanish Restaurant at Capitol Kempinski Singapore is one of several eateries on the premises that specialize in a range of cuisines from across the world.

On weekdays, El Teatro Tapas serves a two- or three-course lunch for $19-$24. It seemed like a reasonably priced lunch at such a beautiful location in the City. They also serve delicious steak for their diners to indulge too!

Client Testimonial

Service and food were fantastic here. The servers were always friendly and prompt, and gave good recommendations.

My favourites were the churros and steak. The paella was good too, but I won’t consider it mind blowing.

The house wines are also really decent, and is a good companion to the dishes served.

Binomio is a well-kept secret. This eatery is highly popular among foodies, yet it tends to fly under the radar in comparison to its trendier siblings. The tapas table faces the restaurant, while the large inner sanctum is a luxurious fine-diner for Spanish cuisine.

Client Testimonial

Nice ambience! Food may seem a bit pricey but they were reasonably portioned and very yummy! The service staff are prompt and gave very good recommendations to the wine and food. We might have over ordered a bit for 4. On hindsight, I might have kept the set of 5 tapas, skip the paella and instead get 2 or 3 desserts to share.

Fish & Chicks is a popular Singaporean cafe chain that has grown from a small start in the Ang Mo Kio Blocks to more than 10 branches all over Singapore. Two young men who are so serious about providing you with delicious food that they’ve tested and researched numerous batters, choosing from a variety of fries suppliers to find the ideal one before further seasoning it themselves, as well as homemade their dipping sauces. Some may believe that all of this is essential for excellent cuisine. True! But a random western food Kopitiam stand does not receive nearly as much care.

Fish & chips lovers should also add this eatery to their itinerary. They’ve taken it up a notch by adding salted egg sauce and chilli crab sauce, topping it with excellent flavor and portion.

They were not only a novelty, but they also tasted fantastic. It’s well worth the trip. The fried chicken wings are extremely alluring and you won’t want to miss them out.

Client Testimonial

Best chicken and fish rice ball dim sum I’ve ever had! Awesome place, the whole family loved it. Need to go back quick, just too yummy to wait! Love it, 5+++ stars!

The new Italian restaurant at The Arcade at the Capitol Kempinski Hotel is La Scala Ristorante. Restaurants in this vicinity are linked to the adjacent Capitol Piazza and Capitol Theatre.

There’s something perennial about a Burratina and Pomodorini antipasto (S$18++). Creamy burratina, with a harsh bite of fresh rocket salad and Datterino tomatoes, is the ideal way to whet the hunger. Other than sliced meat and cheese, the Antipasto Italiano Misto (S$28++) is a great option for sharing portions. It’s made up of burrata, parma ham, salami, and mushrooms on focaccia bread.

In terms of value, high-quality ingredients and freshly prepared pasta justify the 20+ dollars they cost. The Linguini Dero de Mare (S$26++), which had a strong saltiness, was also salty, but we attributed it to residual brine. Aside from that, there are still a variety of delicious pastas to choose from, ranging from hearty choices like Spaghetti Carbonara (S$22++) to delicate ones like Ravioli Delicati (S$20++).

Came here for their weekday set lunch. It was very worth it. Cosy ambience. Food was nice !

There aren’t many local bakeries in Germany that offer these popular German baked goods, such as Bretzel, Bauernbrot (which is farmer’s bread), and Hefezopf ($7 to $9). Every day at Berthold, they have it fresh.

The Berthold Signature Dark Rye Sourdough with Pastrami Ham is a traditional combination of the sweet and salty flavors that includes both a moderately sour break and saltiness from the ham.

Singaporeans’ passion for quick food knows no bounds. We get ecstatic about any new fast food restaurant openings, and we’re sad when they leave, such as Wendy’s.

Shake Shack, on the other hand, has garnered much attention. Although it is not a fast-food restaurant, the arrival of Shake Shack sparked the first wave of interest in Jewel Changi Airport.

Shake Shack is well-known for its burgers, but it began as a hot dog stand in Madison Square Park.

Client Testimonial

The burgers are awesome. Prices are steep, compared to other burger joints (we paid $86 for this meal) but you can taste the quality in their burgers. Our favourite is the limited-edition ShackMeister burgers. I really hope they’ll make it a permanent item on the menu. ShackBurger is also yummy! SmokeShack was good the both times we tried it at Jewel. Somehow didn’t taste as great at Suntec outlet. Cheese fries and ShackMeister fries are both good.

Their chocolate milkshake is heavenly. Hubby loves the Indian Pale Ale (too bad the ShackMeister Ale was sold out when we went last night). Lemonade is not among their best items.

Overall, we are huge fans of Shake Shack. So glad they are expanding throughout Singapore!

It all started when Mr. Say Lip Hai, a Hainanese cook boy, arrived in Singapore from Sembawang and began working for the British troops. He learned how to make the finest roast beef and Yorkshire pudding while there.

In 1966, a British housewife suggested that Mr. Say start a catering company with her spouse, Jack Hunt, in his pub at Killiney Road called Jack’s Place, which he had established the previous year. Mr. Say concurred and began the venture in 1968. Jack Hunt sold his stake in the firm shortly afterward, but his namesake “Jack the Chef” continues to operate the kitchen!

Today, Jack’s Place is a trusted choice for family and friends to savor their well done or medium rare delicious steaks, unique meals, and exquisite cakes at a reasonable price. Jack’s Place is dedicated to providing high-quality cuisine in a pleasant and homey atmosphere for our guests.

Singapore has a plethora of brunch and all-day breakfasts options. Many are located in hipster neighborhoods or picturesque settings, which may not be the most easily accessible. Grain Alley is a new cafe in Orchard Central that will satisfy your needs if you’re searching for a quick lunch option in Singapore’s prime shopping area.

Grain Alley is a coffee shop that mixes modern style decor with industrial style café design. Exposed ceiling beams and pipes are present, but the flooring is well-tiled. Grain Alley features several distinct aesthetics throughout the city – each one is Instagrammable and appealing.

Client Testimonial

Grain Alley has a Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, with mainly all-day breakfast and brunch items. There is a decent variety of pastries and desserts on the menu.

Good coffee and good selection of wines even thou I did not get to try all yet. Food is good and fragrant and atmosphere is comfortable and nice. Very diner/customer-centric to keep internal space for reservations and discouraging use of space for working.

The cuisine at Tuga Dempsey, a Portuguese restaurant in the United States, serves several Portuguese wines. The sea scallops ($88), octopus ($65), and pork meat and clams ($33) are all delicious meals. The 2016 Monte Cascas Reserva wine ($51) is a smooth, creamy white with notes of pineapple that creates a refreshing fruity taste.

Client Testimonial

Perfect ambience for wine lovers. Their wine selection was extensive. Tables were nicely spaced out in different sections of the restaurant. Food was good. It was a bit pricey but the quality was worth every dollar. Service was good as well. Servers were very attentive and were always checking on us.

Restaurant Gaig has high standards to meet. After all, it’s the Singapore outpost of its Barcelona-based sibling restaurant with one Michelin star. Fortunately, the cuisine more than justifies the price tag. The menu includes signatures from Barcelona’s Gaig’s cannelloni, quail escabechex, and others, in addition to the usual suspects.

Client Testimonial

We loved the traditional cannelloni stuffed with beef and pork and truffle sauce ($16.50) especially the sauce, and the beef wellington ($52)! The tenderloin in the wellington is so tender and flavourful, among the best I’ve tried.

Unfortunately there were two large bones in my cod fritters, and the fritters seemed to be mostly gooey starch. I wouldn’t order that again.

The owner of this Kopitiam Western stall used to be a regular customer who met the owner, his current wife, and took over the business after getting married in 2012.

Their Chicken Chop (S$7) is one of Wow Wow West’s most well-known items, and it’s described as their trademark. It boasts a golden-brown hue and a delectably crispy grilled chicken skin immersed in a pool of their flavorful black pepper sauce.

It’s worth checking out if you’re a fan of Fish & Chips (S$8). The moist and flaky meat goes great with the crispy batter, and there’s also a hefty spoonful of their housemade mayonnaise on top.

The Tanglin Halt Food Centre is on the verge of shutting down, thus you have a very limited window to try Chef Hainanese Western Food’s cuisine, particularly because the stand only operates for two hours each day. The Lion Head restaurants specialize in Hainanese-style Western cuisine, which is hailed as authentically evocative. To try everything, order the Mixed Grill ($10). This comes with chicken sausage, fish fillet, chicken chop, pork chop, a fried egg, and a medley of sides including baked potato. The other meals cost $5.

Client Testimonial

First time trying it as friends were saying that the area would be redeveloped soon.

Regular western shop with very affordable price tag. 10 dollar for mixed grill set. Food portion was generous.

Thank you for the food.
